What is 'Safe Sport'?
Safe Sport is a set of principles that aim to protect athletes and other participants from abuse, harassment, and discrimination in sport.
These programs cover crucial topics like appropriate boundaries, positive communication, and safeguarding practices, helping adults create a supportive, respectful atmosphere.
By understanding the risks and learning effective intervention techniques, coaches become proactive advocates for every child’s well-being.
This training not only builds trust but also sets a high standard for safety, making sports a positive and protected space for all players.

Why Safe Sport:
Safe sport training equips coaches, volunteers, parents, and athletes with essential skills to identify, prevent, and address discrimination and abuse.
